Fresh from his international success as one of the best deleted scenes in the award winning movie ‘I Daniel Blake‘ veteran Geordie comic and newspaper columnist Mike Milligan launches his latest solo show.

After previously packing his venue at the Jesterval Comedy festival with his ‘selfhelplessness’ show, he now brings us 'Shearer shared me Pram‘. In it, Mike shares the myths, tales, madness and magic of an upbringing in the warm heart of an ‘ordinary’ northern family. Indeed, Mike aims to show us there’s a true legend in all of our lives as we laugh in the shadow of adversity- or in his case - the shadow of the Dunston ‘Rocket’ block flats made famous in the eighties crisps commercial.

We’ll witness his early political awakenings as he asked “why can’t me gran be the queen?', search for Pegasus on a council estate, learn when it’s ok to wear socks in the garden and discover how his grandad was a latter - day stoic philosopher. We’ll also find out how Mike really did share that Pram with a football legend...
