It has been an exhilarating couple of years for Rob as his cheeky chappy persona has won him legions of fans across the UK. His previous tour, Mouth Of The South was met with such phenomenal demand it was extended for two years throughout 2015 – 2017, seeing Rob perform to sold-out audiences across the country and gain considerable critical acclaim.

As well as his live stand up, Rob is host of BBC One’s primetime singing entertainment show All Together Now, and the last 18 months have also seen Rob take up the role of team captain on Channel 4/More4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, co-host BBC One’s Wedding Day Winners alongside Lorraine Kelly and the voice of E4’s Celebs Go Dating.

Rob is also set to appear of the forthcoming 6–part Sky One series ‘Rob and Romesh Meet’, which will see Rob team up with comedian and friend Romesh Ranganathan to meet their wish list of all-time greats from the world of sport and entertainment.

Rob Beckett appearing at this event

Rob grew up in south east London in a large extended family of taxi drivers where it was a fight to be heard. As a middle child desperate for attention he needed to be funny so was in awe of his Grandad's jokes, but only until he saw a Tommy Cooper video and realised Grandad Cook was a massive plagiarist. 'A little short of a revelation (The Scotsman) 'Relentlessly smiley, perpetually grinning Londoner whose unshowy, unpretentious but thoroughly funny shtick has every chance of winning him a big audience' (The Guardian). 'He already has the confidence of a veteran' (The Times). 'Joyous, cheek aching and touching stand up' (Shortlist). Rob Beckett was placed in Ents24's top 10 hardest-working comedians 2016.
