Greek Beginners - Term 3

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the culture of Greece and Cyprus. The main emphasis is on speaking and communication (a small amount of grammar is gradually introduced to help you to communicate more effectively).

The course is designed to be interactive and fun and is suitable for students with no previous or 'little' knowledge of the Greek language.

The topics covered during the course include:
Introduction to Greek alphabet and Greek pronunciation
Meeting and greeting
Talk about yourself and your family
Drinks and eating out
Numbers and telling time
Directions
At the market
