Charley's Aunt

One of the all-time great classic Victorian Farces, set in Oxford University during Commemoration Week at a time when a young gentleman and a young lady could only meet in the presence of a chaperone.

Expecting Charley's Aunt, Donna Lucia D'Alvadorez to visit and act as chaperone, Jack and Charley invite Amy and Kitty for lunch but Charley's aunt is delayed.

Their friend Lord Fancourt Babberley is persuaded to impersonate Charley's Aunt and chaos ensue, before the young lovers are finally brought together in true Victorian fashion.
