Danish noisemeisters Mew announce a welcome return following a somewhat extended hiatus with news of a brand new album ‘+ -‘ (pronounced plus minus) on 27th April 2015, followed by a short UK tour in May.
Mew continue their penchant for enigmatic album titles. Their previous outing in 2009, ‘No More Stories Are Told Today, I’m Sorry They Washed Away // No More Stories, The World is Grey, I’m Tired, Let’s Wash Away’ revelled in ambition.
‘+ -‘, all skewed pop sensibility coupled with an ever expansive musical backdrop, denotes the extremities of the band’s creative DNA and shows once more a band treading their own unique path.
