Valedictory

Tom and Sarah have differing views on how their disabled daughter should face the end of her life. They also have unfinished business from the breakdown of their marriage. Holly, their daughter’s nurse, has had experiences in her past that have made her re-evaluate her own opinions on end of life care.

Valedictory looks at the issues surrounding the topical debate about assisted dying and tries to imagine how one family would cope as they agonise over the right thing to do.

Though the issues tackled are often dark, the play attempts to look at them in a pragmatic and often humorous way.
