Yazz Ahmed

British-Bahraini Yazz is a distinctive and intelligent soloist and composer with a seemingly effortless sound. Following her widely-praised Hafla Band, her latest project is an ongoing series of innovative live collaborations with her favourite artists. These free flowing and conversational improvisations use electronics, sound design, live looping and sampling to explore contemporary jazz from a personal angle.
