The Radcliffe and Maconie Show
On Friday 3 June, as part of BBC Music Day, The Radcliffe and Maconie Show will be broadcasting a special live show from the site of Manchester's Lesser Free Trade Hall.
Presenters Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the infamous Sex Pistols gig at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in June 1976. Often described as one of the most influential gigs in history, the Sex Pistols' appearance there 40 years ago was attended by just a few people. But the few that were there went on to form some of the UK's most celebrated bands.
With special guests and live music, Mark and Stuart will explore the musical and cultural ripple effects of this legendary punk gig.
Among the guests talking to Mark and Stuart about the gig and its impact are The Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock and journalist Jon Savage. There will also be live music from Manchester band PINS.
They have a limited number of tickets for this event. You can register at any time until 4:00pm on Friday 27 May and you can apply for a maximum of two tickets.
