XFM Winter Wonderland 2013: Jake Bugg + Primal Scream + The 1975 + Kodaline + Josh Record + Darlia
XFM's annual double-headed Christmas event, which takes place in London and Manchester, returns in 2013... and it's all in aid of charity, supporting the work of charity partner War Child, who help vulnerable children affected by the horror of war.
This year's Winter Wonderland shows will take place at O2 Apollo Manchester on December 10th and O2 Academy Brixton on December 12th.
See www.xfm.co.uk/winter-wonderland for further information.
This event takes place at O2 Apollo Manchester, which has achieved Silver Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Jake Bugg's incredible ascent began in 2012 when his self-titled debut album entered the UK charts at number one (aged 18, making him the youngest British male artist ever to achieve this), going on to sell double platinum and get shortlisted for the UK Mercury Music Prize.
Jake Bugg tour dates
Loaded with a massive eclectic body of work, from their early C86 jangly guitar releases to the ambient baggy indie-rock sound of their Mercury Prize winning 'Screamadelica', their mid-career pastiche of the Rolling Stones, right through to their later more experimental dance-based material, ten albums later, Bobby Gillespie and the boys are forever movin' on up.
Primal Scream tour dates
Dark and far-reaching, reverential to 90s shoegaze yet constantly looking forward: The 1975's bombastic sound has gained them a haul of fans across the globe, and they continue to captivate audiences with their wintery, glitchy, melodic form of alternative rock.
The 1975 tour dates
Irish rockers hailing from Dublin, consisting of Steve Garrigan (vocals), Mark Prendergast (guitarist), Jason Boland (bassist) and Vinny May (drummer).
Kodaline tour dates
Brixton based singer-songwriter Josh Record, a unique talent whose star is on the ascent, steps out of his bedroom and into the spotlight this spring with his self-penned, self-produced debut EP 'Bones'. The 25-year-old took full charge of the process from lyric writing to production duties. All done from the comfort of his South London bedroom, 'Bones' is much more than a statement of intent, it's an extension of Josh's entire being.

Three piece indie band from Blackpool, these snotty-nosed boys are grunge enthusiasts with eardrum-gnawing riffs, taking the Nirvana template but adding a hint of Britpop swagger. They met while working as cleaners at their sixth form college after studying for their A Levels. 'Cleaning' the music room was an opportunity for lead singer Nathan Day to finally show people some of the songs from his lifetime body of work, and the band quickly fell into place.
