All Aboard

All aboard for a journey of discovery at MOSI this Easter.

Hear tales of the first passenger train ride, make a locomotive engine to race in the Rainhill Trials, and send your paper plane on its first flight across the Atlantic. Listen to amazing stories by local heroes of travel and transport from days gone by and discover how this historic site connected Manchester to the world.

From storytelling to costumed historical characters, interactive shows to make-and-take workshops, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.
