While it's hard to 'never forget' the tears shed by millions of fans when the band announced their split in 1996, they thankfully proved they were 'back for good' since their return in 2006 with the no.1 album 'Beautiful World'.
Releasing eight no.1 singles in the 90s, the Noughties have seen the boys reach bigger heights with their album sales, as 2008's 'The Circus' became the fastest selling album of that year, and they made even more 'Progress' in 2010, becoming the second fastest selling album in UK history, beaten only by Oasis 'Be Here Now'.
Of course, 'everything changes', and 2014 saw the departure of Jason Orange. But Take That took that as a sign not to split, and carry on as a fighting three-piece - Gary, Howard and Mark will continue to 'shine'.

British-Albanian mezzo-soprano RnB queen Rita Ora has been around for a while, but came to full prominence in 2012 when she provided the vocals for DJ Fresh's 'Hot Right Now', which topped the UK singles chart. Rita followed this with her own string of no.1 singles; 'R.I.P', 'How We Do (Party)' and 'I Will Never Let You Down'.
Still keen on recording collaborations outside of her solo work, Rita has also teamed up with the likes of Charli XCX, Avicii and Iggy Azalea, amongst others. Outside of her music, Rita is a regular face for cosmetics and a former mentor and judge of TV talent show The Voice.

The One Direction star goes solo, having signed to Capitol Records in the UK and Republic Records in the US, label home of Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. His personal life has also made headlines, since dating and splitting up with a certain Cheryl.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned as a solo artist for the British television series The X Factor in 2008 with 'Fly Me to the Moon' by Frank Sinatra, then reauditioned in 2010, when he was put together with four other contestants, and the 1D story began.

Young singer/songwriter folk-blues balladeer George Ezra first came to attention when BBC Introducing in his adopted home of Bristol picked up on a handful of tracks posted online. That led to a live session at the legendary Maida Vale studios and an oversubscribed performance on their stage at the 2013 Glastonbury Festival.
The singer/songwriter possesses a deep, resonant, and emotionally weathered voice that belies his considerable youth. Influenced by similarly precocious troubadours like Dylan and Hank Williams, Ezra was just 19 when he issued his debut single 'Budapest', a warm, amiable, and soulful slice of classy folk-pop that invoked names like Willy Mason, Ben Howard, Ray Lamontagne and Tom Odell.

A classico-electronical collective. The core members Jack Patterson (bass, keyboards), Grace Chatto (cello) and Milan Neil Amin-Smith (violin) met while studying as undergraduates in Cambridge, later joined by brother Luke Patterson (drums). Their unique take on dance music sees beats collide with classical, where Baroque meets house and pop. Classing themselves as an 'electroquartet', and featuring a string of guest vocalists, they have been described as the new Disclosure with a chamberpop bent.

Years & Years play soulful electronic pop, and are rooted in '90s RnB, citing TLC and and Aaliyah as influences.
Crowned as BBC Music's Sound of 2015, Years & Years are a London-based trio consisting of bassist Mikey Goldsworthy, keyboard player Emre Turkmen and vocalist Olly Alexander, who joined the band when Mikey heard him singing in the shower after a party at his house.
"This trio are making dance music that wears its heart and soul on its sleeve – their countless electro pop anthems will fill many a festival tent next summer." - Alison Howe, Series Producer, Later… with Jools Holland, BBC Music TV
