Dinosaurs In The Wild

A new multi-million pound 'Dinosaurs In The Wild' attraction is coming to Manchester In September 2017.

From the award-winning producers of Walking With Dinosaurs, the experience will be one of the biggest ever to be housed at EventCity in Trafford and will give visitors a chance to 'travel through herds of dangerous dinosaurs, watch a dinosaur autopsy, witness hatchlings emerging from eggs and come eye to eye with a very angry Tyrannosaurus Rex'.

Billed as 'a unique, immersive live adventure combining theatre, theme park fun and the very latest scientific research' it will combine cutting edge 3D movie effects, animatronics, sound, lighting, and dramatic storytelling to let families experience an 'exciting, completely believable prehistoric world'.

Jill Bryant, who produced the spin-off arena show of Walking With Dinosaurs, said: 'We were keen to create something new that raised the bar for live action experiences and we’re confident Dinosaurs in the Wild will do just that. This is a new dinosaur experience of unparalleled reality, where visitors will encounter these animals and their world in ways they have never seen before.'

Creative Director Tim Haines, who produced the landmark BBC TV series, said: 'I'm thrilled to have some of the best creative minds in the business working on Dinosaurs in the Wild. We are all committed to putting together an experience unlike anything the public have ever seen before. 'Production is still going on, and we’re keeping full details under wraps for now, but people can expect the very best in animatronics, CGI and live action.'

Co-producer of Dinosaurs in the Wild Bob Deere added: 'It will be highly entertaining, but also very educational – there’s going to be something for all the family, and we can’t wait to open the doors and share it with everyone.'

Visitors will join time-travelling scientists at an extraordinary research station – TimeBase 67 – built in the Late Cretaceous period 67 million years ago, where they now study real, living, dinosaurs instead of fossils.

Guests will get safety briefings from their guides before embarking on their adventure.
