In recognition of the five minutes of summer we heartily receive, the Airing Cupboard smears a passive aggressive love letter to the entertainment of yesteryear headlined by Stockportian comedian housewife of Phoenix Nights fame, Barbara Nice.
An evening filled with rock, candyfloss, scams, glamour, sketch comedy, questionable 'mysticism' and foolery... the lurching doom of contemporary bottom of the barrel scraping entertainment.
Hosted by funny chap Red Redmond accompanied by the delectable Ben Miller Band, other delights include resident spoken word nihilist Thick Richard, dancing prancing wonders Shockout Arts as well as a series of comedy sketches exploring the rise, fall and demise of vaudevillian scoundrels Richard and Edward Barry.
