XFM's First Friday: Jo Good + The Fratellis + Kill Van Kulls + Hattie Pearson
This event takes place at Band On The Wall, which has achieved Gold Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Glasgow trio The Fratellis had phenomenal success with their debut album 'Costello Music' entering the U.K Album Chart at number 2, and went on to win the Best British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards in 2007. Following the release of their second album 'Here We Stand' the band toured America with sell-out shows in New York, Boston and Los Angeles before parting ways to pursue solo projects. Jon, Barry and Mince announced their reformation in 2012 following their four year hiatus.

The Kill Van Kulls are all about melodies that get stuck in your head. A three piece outfit from from the illustrious back drop of Manchester, the band bring together influences old and new, such as Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and Joy Division to Grizzly Bear, The Kills and Doves. Gareth Bartlett, freshly back from a long occupation of Holland, recruited Chris Milton and Chris Walton to compliment his melody focused POP songs, and give them a more jagged, alternative contemporary angle.
