Jazz, Blues And Gerard!

An evening of jazz and blues standards, a touch of rock... and some songs of his own! Accompanied by Sandy Burnett on bass and David Wilks on drums.

A welcome return to Maidstone for this multi-talented New Yorker whose songwriting credits include: A musical written with Alan Jay Lerner, The inspirational "I Made it Thru' The Rain" for Barry Manilow, "New York, New York (so good they named it twice)" and the Novello Award winning theme from 'Minder' "I Could Be So Good for You".

"His songs are written to be sung... but even more, the strain that runs through his music is that most endangered of all species - joy - one either has it, or one does not - Gerard Kenny has it." - Alan Jay Lerner.

"His appeal as a cabaret performer is undiminished... the venue was dazzlingly illuminated by his exuberance and sheer joy in performing!" - The Times.
