Leaves On A Line
“If there was one thing you could say to your younger self, what would it be?”
When a train is mysteriously diverted to a disused Hampshire branch line, one of the passengers is forced to confront the secrets of her past and is given the chance to change her future.
In two complementary plays, Lost and Found, performed either side of an interval, Forest Forge Theatre Company explore the eternal issues of youth and old age, the different directions life can take us, and the constantly changing nature of our hopes and dreams.
The disused railway lines, derelict platforms and abandoned stations of Hampshire form the haunting backdrop of these two new plays.
A witty, beautiful exploration of Life’s train journey and the decisions we all make along the way. The plays have been written by Dinos Aristidou (Bloom), partly inspired by stories collected from Havant and Hayling Island residents and their memories of the Hayling Billy Line.
