A Night of Two Acts

A Night of Two Acts is a show comprised of two comedy one act plays giving you two shows for the price of one.

We Are The Multitude by Laura Harper: Set in a university building, an apparently normal day in a modern office turns into chaos when some kind of a battle begins to rage in the streets outside and the two characters, Lisa and Simon, are at risk of being shot or blown up.

But this isn't modern warfare; instead it is the act of a protest group called The Multitude insisting that the Prime Minister acknowledges that education should be a universal right and not only for the privileged few who can afford to pay in the current funding climate.

Don’t Kid Yourselves by Daniel Blacow and Lucy Cooper: A dark comedy about a young couple who are thrust into the responsibility of parenthood. They are therefore forced to not only have to raise themselves, but a baby as well.
