ArtZone: Afghan Kites
This popular Saturday morning children's art session is a collaboration between the Museum and its Granby Street neighbours, Charnwood Arts.
All ArtZone sessions are designed for children aged between 8 and 15 and are led by practising local artists. The sessions start at 10.30am and finish at 12 noon.
This session will be called "Afghan Kites" and participants will learn how to make a kite in the simple Afghan style by upcycling plastic carrier bags and then decorating them with traditional patterns. Sarah "Crochet Girl" Green will be leading this session.
