On September 19th, join the Bloody Good family for an extra special evening maxi-packed full of menstrual centred comedy, hosted by Jen Brister for Bloody Good Period.
Join Felicity Ward, Josie Long, Sophie Duker, Bridget Christie, Rosie Jones, Rose Matafeo, Ingrid Dahle and Jess Fostekew at Union Chapel for an evening full of stand-up that’ll make you Leak Out Loud. Tell your pals, bring your pads and get ready for an evening full of all thing’s menstruation.

All funds raised help to support Bloody Good Period, an organisation created to tackle period poverty in the UK through supplying period products to asylum seekers, refugees and those who can’t afford them.

Josie's humour is warm, optimistic and endearing, filled with rambling daft tales and all the things she likes in the world and which cheer her up. In 2013 she became the third woman to win the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show with A Bic For Her, which went on to win the 2014 South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy, the 2014 Chortle Award for Best Show, a 2014 Hospital 100 Club Award for Performance and broke box office records at Soho Theatre. In December 2019 the show was named as one of The Times comedy shows of the decade. She is the host of BBC Radio 4 series Bridget Christie Minds the Gap and the first British woman to have her own Netflix special. With her infectious laugh and high energy Rosie Jones brings 'huge laughs' (Chortle) and has quickly become a must-see act on the comedy circuit. The ex-television researcher was awarded second place in the Leicester Mercury's New Comedian Of The Year 2018, and has already starred on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Last Leg: The Correspondents. With seemingly no end to her talents, Rosie is also an incredible actor, making her primetime debut as Serena in a Silent Witness two-part special.

Rose Matafeo is a New Zealand-based comedian and TV presenter. Rose started stand-up at the age of 15 and has since staged five solo shows as part of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. In 2010 she won Best Newcomer at the NZICF (New Zealand International Comedy Festival), and went on to win the prestigious Billy T Award (2013). Rose has also featured on the 2014 and 2015 NZ International Comedy Gala and has opened for Reggie Watts in both New Zealand and the UK. Rose is a regular face on TV screens having appeared on Have I Got News For You (BBC 1) in the UK, while in New Zealand Rose is the head writer and star of Funny Girls (TV3) and a regular on panel show 7 Days (Three Now NZ). She has also written and starred on New Zealand comedy show Jono And Ben At Ten (TV3, NZ) where she interviewed the likes of Amy Poehler, Jim Carrey, Bill Hader, and Amy Schumer.
