Aisling Comedy Benefit 20th Birthday Party: Ardal O'Hanlon, Dara O Briain, Ed Byrne, Ian Stone, Aisling Bea, Abandoman
Supporting the Irish homeless charity and hosted by Aisling patron Ardal O’ Hanlon, featuring some of the best established and up-and-coming names in Irish and British stand-up.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Although best known for his starring roles in the sitcoms, Father Ted (for which he won a British Comedy Award and a BAFTA nomination) and My Hero, Ardal's other TV comedy dramas include Big Bad World, Blessed, Skins and Dr Who. He has appeared on his own Dave's One Night Stand and more recently on Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. Ardal has even found the time to write a book, his best-selling novel Talk Of The Town features in the book '1001 Books to Read Before You Die'.
However, it is as a stand-up comedian where Ardal's true vocation lies. He sees his role in life as 'highlighting the ridiculous'. Avoiding the overly crass and the obvious, his only interest is the truth - if there is such a thing...
