Benchwarmer

Benchwarmer is an emerging alternative rock and shoegaze-inspired band established in London. The project was officially launched in January, and the band is set to perform their debut London headline show at The Troubadour.

Following their departure from a previous musical endeavor, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Josh Gilbart-Smith, alongside drummer Matteo Firth, initiated the formation of Benchwarmer. They collaborated with lead guitarist and producer Thomas Trenga, as well as Noah Burrowes, a childhood friend of Josh, who plays bass guitar.

With a unique blend of influences and a commitment to crafting innovative soundscapes, Benchwarmer aims to make a significant impact on the music scene, showcasing their creativity through their art.
