Experience an afternoon with two of the most celebrated figures in Shakespearean theatre – David Tennant and Greg Doran – as they reveal the passion and process behind bringing Shakespeare’s timeless works to life.
Greg Doran, hailed by the Sunday Times as “one of the great Shakespearians of his generation,” led the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2012 to 2022, directing or producing every play in Shakespeare’s First Folio. His collaborators range from Judi Dench and Patrick Stewart to his late husband, Antony Sher.
David Tennant, acclaimed for his roles in Doran’s groundbreaking productions of Hamlet and Richard II, and recently Max Webster’s production of Macbeth, brings wit, depth, and fresh perspective to the Bard’s greatest characters.
Together, Greg and David will shed a new light on the greatest of plays and share the energy, discoveries and agonies of bringing the Bard to life in the 21st century.
Discover how Nelson Mandela inspired Julius Caesar, what arachnophobia has to do with Macbeth, and why a dedicated fan’s skull became a prop in Hamlet. With stories from both sides of the stage and a unique opportunity to ask your own questions, don’t miss this chance to delve into the artistry of Shakespearean performance at its highest level.
