Music For One

Music For One is your breath that you see on a cold day. It is stark and simple guitar motifs that draw melodic inspiration from old acoustic blues and Erik Satie. They mingle with a modern experimental aesthetic that is related live to the audience with a guitar, effects, bits from the hardware store, and that thing you found when you cleaned behind the couch.

Hailing from the New Cross bedsit scene looking like a couple of gangsters from the depression era, Congregation have lately been injecting the Blues and R 'n' B genre with a heavy dose of class and soul. Benjamin Prosser (Slide Guitar, Bass drum) and Victoria Yeulet (vocals, leg bells) play the kind of raw, slinky and seductive blues that have the power to restore one's faith in the genre.
