The award-winning Instant Classics Theatre Company return to the White Bear with Shakespeare's most rarely-performed play, part of the theatre's 'Lost Classics' season.

Palamon and Arcite are best friends and military comrades, prisoners of war in Duke Theseus's Athens. When the two of them fall in love with the same woman, it sets up a war between Venus and Mars that can only end in tragedy.

In his final play, Shakespeare returns to the battle between love and friendship that had been the subject of one of his first (The Two Gentlemen of Verona) in the first major London production of The Two Noble Kinsmen since the year 2000.
