The Featherz, You Want Fox

Formed in early 2015, You Want Fox are the kick-ass female duo hailing from the deep, dark depths of Nottingham. Taking a segue from their punk roots, the pair – consisting of Natalie Caulton on vocals and bass, and Colette Hutton on vocals and drums – are punching their way into the pop arena with their brand spankin’ ten track album, You Can’t Sit With Us. Sitting most comfortably in the pop-grunge genre, You Want Fox have got well-manicured fingers in all the genre-pies, with the album consisting of everything from garage rock and proper pop, to down and dirty grunge – just the way they like it. With a combination of influences, including Sleigh Bells, Grimes and The Subways, the collection is an eclectic mix of what makes the girls tick. Self-released single Bad Girls from the album has already received over 13,000 views on YouTube, and received praise from a whole host of local and national publications. You Can't Sit With us is released on Friday 20th May.

The Featherz (formerly The Feathers) are a Welsh/English band with glam and punk influences (self-styled as "Flock Rock") led by Danie Cox on lead vocals and guitar. Danie formed the band with two fellow former members of Georgie Girl And Her Poussez Posse, a band fronted by Georgina Baillie and mentored by Adam Ant. After leaving Baillie and Ant to form their own group, they received press coverage in the Ipswich Star, Wales On Sunday, Basingstoke Gazette and rock magazine Vive Le Rock who included their track RNR? on the free CD with the January/February 2014 edition (issue 16). They also completed a UK national tour supporting Boy George, in three of whose videos Danie has appeared, and in 2015 supported The Damned on a short UK tour.

Since May 2014, Danie is the last remaining founder member. The band now features drummer Dazzle Monroe (formerly of Extreme Noise Terror) bassist Alice Atkinson.
