After over a year of highly-successful monthly evenings in Aylesbury, Vinyl On Wednesdays is coming to the venerable Troubadour as Vinyl At The Troubadour, held on the first Tuesday of every month.

Rather than follow traditional routines of playing a whole album from start to finish, these nights dispense with formality to focus on an artist's entire repertoire, allowing host Kris Needs, joined by guests, to recount memories from 50 years in the music business, which include running Bowie and Mott the Hoople fan clubs, Aylesbury's legendary Friars club, editing original fanzine Zigzag and decades as an author/music writer.

Renowned for their loose, warm atmosphere, the events are more like a session when you get back from the pub, with dust on the needle and records started at the wrong speed. Artists covered so far (and deserving a revisit) include The Clash, Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Motorhead, Beastie Boys, Suicide, Ramones, Mott the Hoople, Funkadelic, The Orb, Primal Scream and Blondie.
