Alan Carr
Alan Carr is one of Britain's most successful and treasured comedians. His unique humour and effortless stage presence have earned him a catalogue of awards. His hit Channel 4 chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man is firmly established as one of the nation's favourite entertainment TV shows.
Alan's unique warm hospitality and infectious personality have won audiences hearts, ensuring he is the perfect chat show host as he invites his A-list guests to a tipple of their choice, to let their hair down (which they often do), and most importantly have fun.
'A comedian who owns the space he is working in so much, he could put a flag up' (The Independent)
'An absolute natural on stage… a born storyteller, sheer entertainment' (London Evening Standard).
Alan Carr was named in Ents24's top 10 hardest-working comedians of 2015.

Rob Beckett
Rob grew up in south east London in a large extended family of taxi drivers where it was a fight to be heard.
As a middle child desperate for attention he needed to be funny so was in awe of his Grandad's jokes, but only until he saw a Tommy Cooper video and realised Grandad Cook was a massive plagiarist.
'A little short of a revelation (The Scotsman)
'Relentlessly smiley, perpetually grinning Londoner whose unshowy, unpretentious but thoroughly funny shtick has every chance of winning him a big audience' (The Guardian).
'He already has the confidence of a veteran' (The Times).
'Joyous, cheek aching and touching stand up' (Shortlist).
Rob Beckett was placed in Ents24's top 10 hardest-working comedians 2016.

Sir Lenny Henry
The writer, comedian, actor and occasional television presenter from Dudley shot to fame when he was just 17, starring in the anarchic 1970s children's TV show Tiswas. He has since become one of Britain's most popular entertainers, and his charity efforts for Red Nose Day and Comic Relief have made him one of the nation's best-loved showbiz personalities.

John Bishop
John Bishop has had an incredible career. Within three years of his first ever comedy gig, he was playing to sold out arena audiences across the country and also released the fastest selling stand-up DVD in UK history.
A strong stage presence and life experience make him a comedian who is not afraid to take chances, and this is reflected in his status as one of the best comics in the country.
What the critics say:
"Home is not only where Bishop’s heart clearly and endearingly is – it’s where his art is, too" Daily Telegraph
"His Supersonic show easily confirms that John Bishop has finally taken on the mantle of Britain’s top comic" Daily Mirror
John Bishop was named in Ents24's top 5 biggest selling comedians of 2016.

Russell Howard
Russell Howard is one of our funniest and most successful comedians. The quick-witted, cheeky and wryly observant comedian first became known when he was appearing as a regular on BBC2's Mock The Week. He has had huge success in writing and starring in his own BBC show, Russell Howard's Good News.
Russell Howard’s Good News is available around the world via a YouTube channel launched in 2014 – allowing fans to watch full episodes of the show (without piracy) in countries where the show wasn’t already broadcast – and has had over 11 million views and been watched in 180 countries (including North Korea and Vatican City).
As part of his Round The World tour in 2017, Russell played 10 consecutive nights at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, overtaking the record of 8 in a row jointly held by Frank Sinatra in the 70s and Barry Manilow in the 90s. Before this, the record for the most consecutive performances by a comedian was 6 nights, shared by legends Victoria Wood and Billy Connolly.
'Energetic, uncynical and, most importantly, very funny' (The Times).

Romesh Ranganathan
Romesh burst onto the comedy circuit in 2010, gigging regularly at top venues all over the country. As well as turning in storming turns on a regular basis, he has also found time to reach the Latitude New Act Final 2010, The So You Think You're Funny? Final 2010 as well as coming runner up in The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010.
In 2015 Romesh starred in his own show called 'Asian Provocateur' (BBC Three) where he travelled to Sri Lanka to learn about his parents' country. In 2016 the second series 'Mum's American Dream' was commissioned.
He has forged a fearsome reputation with a set that combines cutting one liners with an acerbic take on the world around him.
'Extraordinarily hilarious' (Three Weeks)
'Plenty to enjoy in his ultra sardonic set' (Chortle)
'His ability to write bitingly fresh gags marks him out from the crowd... Ranganathan's punchlines are sharper and funnier than many of his peers' (The Guardian).
Romesh Ranganathan was named in Ents24's top 5 hardest-working comedians of 2016.

Jimmy Carr
Over the past 10 years, Jimmy has deservedly earned his place amongst the very best of British comics. As well as hosting 14 series of 8 Out Of 10 Cats and starring in 10 O’Clock Live, Jimmy is a regular on all the top TV comedy shows.
Often referred to as ‘the hardest working man in comedy’, Jimmy has so far performed his live stand-up tour shows to over 2 million people across 4 continents and his DVDs have sold more than 1.2 million copies. His stand-up achievements to date include a British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand Up Tour, a Loaded LAFTA Award for Best Stand-Up and a Perrier Award nomination.
'A comedy hero for our times' (The Guardian)

Jimmy Carr was named in Ents24's top 5 hardest-working comedians 2017.

Katherine Ryan
The product of a strict Irish father and a glitzy Canadian 'stage mom', Katherine Ryan won neither friends nor pageant titles growing up. Try as she might to shed her questionable perspectives and super sparkly nature, she's not sure we can ever truly escape our childhood indoctrinations. Katherine puts a hilarious spin on many topics including life as a single mum and gender hypocrisy in a laid-back, funny, and downright honest show.
As well as being a writer-performer Katherine is also a talented actress and played the lead role of George in Victoria Pile's Channel 4 series Campus. Katherine also appeared regularly throughout the second series of Episodes as Merc's Assistant.
'She has perfect timing and enough attitude to stop an elephant in its tracks' (Time Out)
'If only every comedian was as acerbic, smart and downright funny as Katherine Ryan' (Eastern Daily Press)
'This entertaining hour... flies by... all the hallmarks of an increasingly assured comic...' (Steve Bennett, Chortle)
'Warped wit... striking presence... killer lines... calm confidence' (The Scotsman)
'Thoughtful, funny and just twisted enough' (The Times).
Katherine Ryan was named in Ents24's top 5 hardest-working comedians of 2015.
