After growing up in '80s South-East London and surviving a post-Bush, post-racial, post-Thatcher, post-Twilight Society, Dane realised that it was a moral obligation to chronicle and in some places parody the human experience and contemporary western culture.
Having written and starred in his own sitcom for the BBC (Sunny D) and performed a triumphant run at the Edinburgh Festival, Dane Baptiste is fast becoming regarded as definitely one to watch as his career takes off.
Dane has also established himself as a TV regular with performances on Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC3), Virtually Famous (E4), Celebrity Squares (ITV1), Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular (BBC3) & Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central).
