Accidental Festival: New Writing Evening

A double bill of new writing.

Don’t, we need no education? by Selah Theatre Company
A thought-provoking invitation to view society and life through the eyes of the ones our world blames on the one hand, yet also relies on for its future. Generation why asks is there anything more to life beyond surviving?

What Can You Do? by Joshua Pemberton
He is 82. She is 77.
He needs a new hearing aid. She needs a new dressing gown.
They live in flat number 77. “Will I still be here when I’m 78?”

A sequence of duologues between an elderly couple in their domestic sphere; a performance created from real life recordings of conversations, arguments and silences.
