Paris/ Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno

As part of their launch events, Noise of Art, Red Gallery and Kamio are screening the cult film 'Paris/ Berlin: 20 Years of Underground Techno'.

A rare opportunity to hear the film's incredible sound track over a meaty sound system, the Amélie Ravalec directed film was filmed over three years, within the underground techno scenes of these two European hubs of electronic music.

The film tells the story of techno, from secret Parisian parties to Berlin's infamous Berghain club. Paris/Berlin documents the underground movement of techno through the lens of two different cities. The documentary traces the evolution of techno telling the stories of the DJs, producers, label managers, promoters, record shops and distributors that have stayed true to its original spirit.

As well as capturing the scene and its music, there are in depth interviews with techno acts such as Laurent Garnier, Regis, Adam X, Function, Lucy, Ancient Methods, Nick Höppner, Terence Fixmer, Tama Sumo, Dasha Rush, Milton Bradley, Lupo, Tobias Rapp and many more.
