Questing Time
Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser
What is Questing Time?
The short answer is that Questing Time is a show where a bunch of comedians sit around playing Dungeons & Dragons.
Each comedian has a character that they play as; for example Nish Kumar usually plays a rowdy Dwarf called John Butthammer. The comedians make all the choices that their character would make, but their success or failure is left up to the rolls of the dice.
Paul Foxcroft, pictured here, writes an adventure for the other comedians to play through - so he’ll describe a situation like this:
“You open the door and enter a long hallway, there’s a pig here”.
To which the players will almost certainly respond by trying to kill the pig. So they get to roll dice to see if they kill the pig or if something else happens.
That’s it. For an extended period of time. But with the funniest comedians from around the UK and beyond. So better than what you imagined.
