This smart-suited Geordie is full of surprises and manic energy. His self-depreciating manner belies a razor sharp talent and with witty observations he tackles a plethora of life's situations in his hilarious songs. Possibly Newcastle's finest export since the famous brown ale.
Winner of Time Out Comedian Of The Year.
'Comic genius' (The Daily Express)
'His hilarious songs give musical comedy a good name' (The Guardian).
Richard Morton tour dates
Half-American downbeat comedian who draws on his 'life of grinding poverty' to produce the laughs. Expect dark tales of his family and love life (he even confesses to a medical condition that makes sex uncomfortable!). You can't help yourself laughing at his misfortune!
'His bleak world view was enlivened with brilliant and unexpected turns of phrase and the element of desperation as disaster piled on disaster had a cumulatively hilarious effect, as in farce, where the more dire the consequences for the protagonist, the harder we laugh at his discomfort' (Chortle)
'The best comedian you haven't heard of yet' (Mark Watson, Time Out)
'At once hilarious and painfully revelatory' (Chortle)
'The stand-out stand-up' (Evening Standard)
'What a genuinely fresh and powerful voice... It is wonderful' (Scotsman).
Sean McLoughlin tour dates
One of the most sought-after acts in the country. Perrier Award Nominee and Polygram Award winner for best stand-up at the Edinburgh Festival. Undoubtedly one of Britain's sharpest comic brains - all this and he doesn't swear.
'He's been one of my favourite stand-ups for about ten years (Ricky Gervais)
'In the premier league of comedy' (The Independent)
'He makes me laugh out loud, I can't wait to see him live' (Sir Ian McKellen)
'Bloom is perhaps the perfect comedian' (The List).
Adam Bloom tour dates
Runner-up in the 2010 Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year competition, having started performing stand-up in late 2009.
Andrea has since performed alongside some of the UK's best comedians at prestigious comedy clubs all over the UK, been commissioned as a writer for a BBC pilot and was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum at the New York Television Festival 2012.
'Andrea Hubert's eccentric and dark humour has the audience in hysterics… the charisma and confidence of a natural performer' (Broadway Baby)
'A keen writing skill... archly cynical attitude... her slick, fluid set is rich with inventive, sarcastic gags hung round an intriguing personality' (Chortle)
'A gifted storyteller... Hubert was the highlight of the show' (Fringe Guru).
Andrea Hubert tour dates
A London-based Jewish comedian who usually gives great value for money by doing a double show of his solo work. Ivor Dembina runs the Hampstead Comedy Club which he founded in 1994.
'Acclaimed Jewish comedian Ivor Dembina' (The Guardian)
'The success of the performance was down to Dembina's delivery, each quick fire gag delivered with the stereotypical panache natural to this veteran of the Jewish comedy scene. I would urge you to go and see what is an excellent show' (http://www.BroadwayBaby.com).
