Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall became Little Mix in 2011. It seems almost a distant memory now that these girls won The X-Factor (and were the first ever group to do so, rather than a solo singer).
They have had four UK No.1 singles and four platinum albums, from the debut 'DNA' to 'Glory Days' and were presented with a plaque from their label in 2017 for total worldwide sales of 30 million. This makes them officially the biggest girl band since the Spice Girls. Aside from sales, they have also gained recognition, with a string of awards from MTV Europe, Choice, Glamour and 'Shout Out To My Ex' received a Brit for 'Best British Single'.

Hackney-based Drum'n'Bass quartet made up of musicians Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and Leon (DJ Locksmith), who navigate through genres effortlessly. Known for their collaborations, they first achieved a UK no.1 single in 2012 with 'Feel The Love' featuring guest vocalist John Newman, and the success story continued with number ones from 'Waiting All Night' featuring Ella Eyre and 'These Days' featuring Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen.

The Vamps cause a stir everywhere they go, with legions of fans following and pandemonium at every turn. Essex-born songwriter Jessie J has penned tunes for the likes of Alicia Keyes, toured with Chris Brown and notably wrote Miley Cyrus's Number One billboard smash 'Party In The USA!' Jessie kicked off her solo career with “Price Tag”, the anti-materialistic anthem of its year, and an album that sold in its millions going platinum several times over. But that was just the beginning of a journey that would see Jessie become the first British woman in history to take six top ten singles from one album and never mind that it was her first outing.
While her multi-octave voice and self-made attitude has earned Jessie J the respect of music's glitterati; from Kylie to Justin Timberlake commenting 'Who is the best singer? Jessie J!', to Cyndi Lauper pulling her on stage at Shepherds Bush to sing her legendary anthem 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' alongside her.

John Newman began playing guitar and writing his own songs aged just 14 and soon learned how to record and produce himself, making his own house tracks and DJing. A few years later and all the influences start to stack up to form the basis of John’s sound. Think the pure soul and groove of early Stax and Motown, add a dash of James Brown and Prince, a smattering of Black Keys, and mix it all together with a bit of Dangermouse. It’s all in there, it’s all great, but what really hits you is the voice. That Voice.

He is now established as one of the world's biggest pop stars having sold over 30 million singles globally. Taking Michael Jackson as his biggest influence, along with comparisons to Usher and Flo Rida, Derulo's music is a hybrid of pop with R&B and hip-hop influences.
