The Museum of the Order of St John tells the story of the Venerable Order of Saint John, from its origins caring for sick pilgrims in eleventh century Jerusalem and fighting in the Crusades, through to its modern-day incarnation as St John Ambulance!

This fascinating collection is housed in a beautiful 16th century gatehouse built above an 11th the original headquarters of the Knights Hospitaller.

Enjoy a few drinks in the galleries and follow the Holy Grail Trail through the galleries, or take a tour of the Norman Crypt at the church before settling down to watch the much loved 1975 British comedy Monty Python and The Holy Grail on the big screen. Considered one of the greatest comedy films of all time, this is a fantastic opportunity to watch this British classic in a glorious, historical setting.
