London's multinational, West African outfit return to pay tribute to Talking Heads with a unique reinterpretation.
The pervasive West African influence of these albums excellently lends itself to this unique take on David Byrne's timeless compositions, paying particular attention to tracks from Remain in Light and Speaking in Tongues as well as the soundtrack to documentary favourite Stop Making Sense
British bass player Edd Bateman has been collaborating with west African musicians for the last 15 years and his band has toured the world. He brings together musical influences from Nigeria, Senegal, Ivory Coast and more to create a unique showcase of the best of Talking Heads this October.
N.B. This is a tribute, Talking Heads will not be performing.
