The Acoustic Gathering are a folk / rock super group.
Ray Jackson (Mandolin / Harmonica / Vocals) who played with Lindifarne on hits such as 'Lady Eleanor', 'Meet Me On The Corner' and 'Fog On The Tyne'. He also played the Mandolin solo on Rod Stewart's 'Maggie May'.
Jerry Donahue's unique playing style on Fender guitars added a distinctive sound to Fairport Convention and Fotheringay for many years.
Doug Morter was a founder member and guitar player with both The Albion Band and Magna Carta.

Ray Jackson, voice of Lindisfarne, renowned for his mouth-organ and mandolin work wrote the mandolin parts on 'Maggie May' and 'Mandolin Wind'.
