He has a diverse background ranging from both TV and radio comedy; in addition to which he runs his own Comedy Club in Manchester.
He won the Comedy Store Gong Show in 2004. Finalist Manchester comedian of the year 2004.

Roland Gent tour dates
Winner of the London Comedy Festival 2001 and star of Eve Ensler's hit show, The Vagina Monologues. Shazia is lifting the veil on the world of Muslim comedy.
She is well-known for her appearances on BBC's Have I Got News For You, Beautiful People, Muslim Driving School, and The Now Show and Last Comic Standing on NBC.
A practising Muslim, Shazia is known for her deadpan delivery on her observations of her religious world. She works internationally, recently completing a six month tour of England and the United States and has appeared on BBC’s Have I Got News For You, NBC’s Last Comic Standing and CBS’s 60 Minutes.
The only female Muslim stand-up comedian, she has come a long way since starting out in Birmingham in 2000 working as a science teacher and driving up and down the country for a booking for as little as £10.

Dougie's genial personality and gleaming wit make him a joy to watch on stage. With TV and radio appearances including The Live Floor Show, Beat Room and Loud TV, he's also performed at Edinburgh with Dunlop & Dowdeswell, The Underbelly 2002 and The Midnight Show at the Gilded Balloon.
