Lapa In London & Clube Do Choro

Join us for a monthly event celebrating the music and culture of Rio de Janeiro; an informal day where everyone is welcome to participate in classes, music, dance and workshops.

Lapa is the cultural melting-pot neighborhood located at the centre of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where all types of arts, music, dance and culinary traditions are concentrated. As Rio is hosting 2016 Olympic games, renowned musician Gaio de Lima (also from Rio but settled in London), is hosting new monthly event, offering an entire day of Brazilian activities.

Taking place on the last Saturday of the month, Lapa in London is an inclusive and friendly platform where people from all ages are welcome. All that with delicious and traditional Brazilian food!

With Instrument workshops, bossa nova, films and talks, dance class with DJs in the day and Clube do Choro playing choro, gafiera and samba de raiz.
