Sister Mercedes - began as the alterego of Darren Van Asten (guitar and vocals). It has since grown three more heads: John Devolle (lead guitar), Dominic Pettit (drums) and Rafael Curita (bass). John and Darren played in Junkbox together before and John has played in various other bands including The Intolerable Kidd & Friends and The Lonesome Cowboys from Hell.
