Three years after his last album – Ghost People – Martyn joins the Ninja Tune family to present his third long player. Universally respected for his ever-evolving, but inimitable sound, the Dutch-born, Washington DC-based producer brings an entirely new sonic direction with The Air Between Words. This is an exploration of the essence of all of Martyn’s music: a rugged four-to-the-floor groove, intelligently sculpted and artfully composed.
Stylistically and sonically, Martyn stands apart from his counterparts. His music incorporates vintage references but is steadfastly forward-facing at the same time. He’s always done that. His sound is heritage and future - and that character has elevated him alongside fellow electronic heavyweights such as Four Tet, Kode9, dBridge and Mark Pritchard.

Tama has been plying her trade in Germany since the early 90's, holding down residencies at some of Berlin's most legendary clubs - Tresor, Ostgut and most recently, Berghain and The Panorama Bar. She has developed a varied style over the years taking in italo-disco, house music in all its forms, techno, acid and beyond. Her sound is just as focused on hypnotic melodies as it is on solid beats and bass.

Belgium’s Peter Van Hoesen has never been that typical techno artist. As one of the genre’s forerunners, he is someone who builds sounds for many different environments - the club, the home, the gallery or museum. On his own label Time to Express, and imprints like Tresor and Dekmantel UFO, he releases records to great acclaim.

Alongside his musical soul mates Levon Vincent and Jus Ed, Qu has been instrumental in re-establishing New York's reputation - consistently pushing the tough, dark, deep house sound that has defined the best output from NYC over the past few years.
DJ Qu tour dates
Moxie is known for her ability to seamlessly mix classic Detroit house and 4/4 deep grooves. The DJ and broadcaster has quickly made a name for herself as part of Benji B's Deviation family, hosting a fortnightly show on NTS radio, as well as appearances on Kiss FM and Rinse FM and becoming the first female DJ to play the legendary DMZ party. She is certainly one to watch.
