By popular demand we welcome back Simon Armitage in January 2020. Reading again from his most recent collection Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic, but this time featuring an Audience Q&A so there will be a chance to ask questions of our new Poet Laureate.
Celebrated as ‘the most popular and prolific British poet of his generation’ (The Times), Simon has published eleven poetry collections, two novels and three non-fiction bestsellers. In 2018, he was awarded the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry and in May 2019 he was appointed Poet Laureate.
Stay on after the show for a drink in the bar where Simon will be signing copies of his books.
