Chaos Theory Presents
Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser
Chaos Theory presents vast post-rock, post-metal, drone and contemporary classical sounds in an intimate setting.
After the release of "We All Know", their finest album to date, six-piece band Talons have been blowing audiences away this year at ArcTanGent, Portals festival and Big Scary Monsters' Big Day Out.
We now get the pleasure of getting up close and personal with this mammoth band, just as they're starting to take the world by storm.
"Daring, fluid, impossible to categorise" - Clash Magazine
"Combining the vibrant urgency of Russian Circles and the orchestral deftness of Mono." - Drowned in Sound
The solo cellist's album Exsolve comes out today, and we couldn't let an opportunity by for you all to celebrate with her! So tonight, she'll be playing music from across her career, as well as new music from the album, and you'll have a chance to buy the album at the merch table tonight.
"Constantly gripping, Exsolve is Jo Quail's finest work to date and one that will endear her to metal and classical fans alike." - Distorted Sound
"A triumph of musicianship and vision in tandem to create something not only greater than the sum of the parts, but beyond imagination." - Aural Aggravation
An audio visual collaboration between two artists based in Brighton. They create mesmeric soundscapes that we find deeply moving and haunting. We can't wait to experience their music in a live setting.
Forging the explosive energy of hardcore, the subtleties of post-rock and the fractured song structures and complexities associated with math-rock, Talons possess a fascinating sense of urgency and drive, with a sound that both soothes and savages in equal measure.
