2017 Funny Women Awards - Heat

This is their 15th year of running the Funny Women Awards and once again they’re on the road across the UK and Ireland to find the newest and best female comedy talent.

They have some incredible alumni including Zoe Lyons, Kerry Godliman, Bridget Christie, Susan Calman, Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Jayde Adams, Desiree Burch and last year’s winner, Harriet Braine, who is already making a name for herself.

Their much sought-after Stage Award focuses on a series of live heats where each act performs five minutes of comedy in front of an audience. You could follow in their footsteps by taking part or come along and support the next brilliant crop of female performers and watch them take their first steps towards comedy glory.
