From the new world to new worlds, a sonic and visual blockbusting finale to the series as Simon Johnson, the celebrated Organist of St Paul’s Cathedral, takes us through Holst’s spectacular odyssey in collaboration with the Space Visualisation Studio at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre and ethereal voices from St Paul’s Girls’ School, where Holst wrote his masterpiece.
Alongside the music, enjoy big-screen space footage that beautifully marries the latest images with the monumental score, and bring your electronic devices as the presentation is live-streamed via the St Paul’s website. The concert will begin with a video message from the International Space Station… This is a mesmerising spectacle not to be missed.
