Coldplay have announced a tiny, late notice gig in East London, due to take place at St John's Hackney church on December 3rd, with the show broadcast live on Radio One and presented by Annie Mac.
Talking to Annie Mac on BBC Radio One on announcing the gig, Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland also went into detail on new album 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.
'The last album was silver and blue, and this one is colour. That's what we were going for. We wanted to have a feeling of freedom and go down whatever road we felt excited by,' Martin explained. 'Ghost Stories' is about dealing with some heartbreak. This is about dreams.'
Buckland added 'we just had so much fun in the studio.'
'I thought I would be over sleepless nights,' Chris said of the new album, but admitted to having suffered a few in the build up to release.
Coldplay will release their seventh album 'A Head Full Of Dreams' on December 4, the day after the Radio One gig, and have revealed a trickle of new songs in the build-up, including the single 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' and 'Amazing Day'.
Tickets will go on sale at 7.45pm on Monday 16th November. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and a maximum of 2 tickets per person can be bought.
