Ian also received a nomination in 2012 for the Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards. He has performed all over the world including Comedy Festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Holland, France, Ireland and Germany. He’s entertained the troops in Kuwait, Bosnia,Kosovo, Cyprus and Afghanistan. He was the first British stand-up to perform in Moscow and the first performer to appear for The Comedy Store in Mumbai.
'Seriously funny' (The Guardian).

Stephen Bailey is the new, must see comedian for 2017. His sharp, warm and sassy take on life tunes into our day-to-day lives with his razor sharp wit and intelligence as he tackles the art of conversation. With so much social media have we forgotten how to just sit and engage with each other on a human level? Are we still able to express ourselves in more than 140 characters?
'Such an amazing fresh talent on the circuit. This boy is hilarious and had me in stitches from beginning to end. A comedy genius' (Laura Whitmore, MTV).
‘He has charisma, he has his own style, he has a wicked line in material and the ability to go off-piste with crowd work that is achingly funny’ (One 4 Review).
'He's very funny, very funny' (Matthew Wright, The Wright Stuff).
'Refreshing to watch, a comic who is so beautifully comfortable in his self that the show he has created is rich with positivity' (The New Current, 2014).

After moving to the UK from Seattle in 2000, Erich joined local ranks and became a British citizen in 2007. Originally from Seattle, he has been gigging regularly on the London and UK circuit. In 2006 he was part of the two-man show Brokeback Britain which received a Total Fringe Sellout Award. On the circuit Erich is highly regarded for his humorous, and insightful, take on living in the UK.
'Masterful' (Broadway Baby)
'... hilariously insightful... smart, sharp, endearing comic' (The List)
'Brilliant observation' (chortle).
Erich McElroy tour dates
The stand-up comedian, actor and improviser has been spreading joy and nonsense to all four corners of England, as well as the more choice bits of Wales and Scotland over the past few years. Crowned Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year in 2009, Ben hosted the prestigious Big Value Comedy Showcase at the Edinburgh festival in 2012.
'A sharp and crafty gagsmith with wittily obtuse takes on an impressively wide range of topics, bringing flair and confidence to them all' (http://www.chortle.co.uk)
'Highly promising... an accomplished comic' (Time Out)
'Van der Velde brings a natural charm to proceedings from the outset, with some
wonderfully improvised riffs... showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue' (Edinburgh Festivals Magazine)
