'Joe Lycett is one of the strongest emerging comedy talents we've seen in a long time. This young man has a huge future' (Time Out)
'A delightfully natural style that builds a real connection with the audience... an accomplished storyteller... Finds brilliance in what could be merely workaday' (Chortle)

Robert tells engaging stories, strong jokes and occasionally performs a bit of musical comedy. Material derives from his unusual life and abstract perspective as he twists his thoughts in a peculiar fashion culminating in always clever, often wordy and sometimes cruel humour.
'Robert White, probably – no definitely – the only asperger, dyslexic, cross lateral,
gay, quarter-Welsh, webbed toed comedian on the circuit' (The Guardian).
Robert White tour dates
'Mowten is a charming and engaging stand-up, funny and interesting, the kind of man who you could spend entire evenings with shooting the breeze in bonhomie.
His life is a fascinating one, from living in a cult to losing a massive inheritance, and he is a skilled storyteller, so go, sit back and enjoy the twists and turns that made Mowten' (The Fix 2007).
'Intelligent and warm and very very funny. Mowten is one of the most honest and fearless comics I have seen' (Shappi Khorsandi)
'Highly original and amusing' (Time Out)
'Mowten's an instantly likeable stand-up with bags of charm and an easy manner' (Chortle)
'A charismatic comedian, with a long future in stand up' (Three Weeks).
