With International Women’s Day just around the corner, we’re celebrating early with a special livestreamed recording of the smash-hit podcast The Guilty Feminist.
Following their sell-out event at the Science Museum in 2018, the award-winning comedy podcast presented by Deborah Frances-White returns. This live virtual show, discussing all things women in medicine and healthcare, will feature special guests including:
• Jo Brand (co-presenter)—BAFTA-winning comedian, actor, writer and former psychiatric nurse, whose many writing credits include Getting On, acclaimed for its realistic portrayal of an NHS hospital.
• Dame Sally Davies DBE—UK Special Envoy on Antimicrobial Resistance, Master of Trinity College Cambridge, and former Chief Medical Officer for England.
•Angela Saini—science journalist, author of ‘Inferior: How Science Got Women Wrong’ and ‘Superior: The Return of Race Science.’
This event is a part of the Science Museum Groups Open Talk programme, a series of events that aims to promote STEM to everyone and to encourage an understanding of both the causes and effects of discrimination.
