Phil McIntyre Live Ltd are thrilled to announce that internationally renowned comedian and actor Jack Whitehall is to host a benefit gig in aid of Diabetes UK. For one night only at London’s glittering Savoy Theatre, Jack will be joined by some of the UK’s top comedians.
Jack said, “Very excited to announce a very special fundraiser event to raise money for a charity very important to Roxy and I. The lineup up for this show is shaping up to be INSANE! So grab a ticket while you can.“
Jack has firmly established himself as one of the country's most successful young talents. He cut his teeth at the Edinburgh Fringe, taking up four sell out shows over three consecutive years and earning an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination in the process with his debut show 'Jack Whitehall: Learning Difficulties'. He has gone on to host Live At The Apollo and perform at the Royal Variety Performance, as well as the internationally prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Canada. In addition, he has been nominated by Variety as one of the '10 Comics to Watch' and in December 2012 won the King of Comedy award at the annual British Comedy Awards. In addition to his stand-up, Jack has also built a successful TV and writing career. As well as his role as JP in the award winning C4 series Fresh Meat, Jack also wrote and starred in the acclaimed BBC3 sitcom Bad Education. He was also a panellist on hit Sky1 show A League Of Their Own and became a chat show co-host with his father Michael for the BBC2 series 'Backchat'. Jack Whitehall was named in Ents24's top 10 biggest selling comedians of 2016.
