It’s been seven long years since the multi award winning cabaret sensation Myra DuBois took that fateful coach trip from the bowels of Yorkshire to the bright lights and expensive drinks of London. Armed with no more than a suitcase and a talent (quite a few talents, actually, thank you very much) she went on to win the heart of the capital’s underground cabaret scene, loved, adored and championed by all as South Yorkshire’s finest export since the Chuckle Brothers. But something changed. The late night, seven-day-a-week drinkers vanished, venues closed their doors and as rents soared, people left. What happened to London? Where did it go?

As Myra eyes up the fertile soil of other metropolises rather like a Martian from a HG Wells novel, she laments the London lost and questions the future with this concert of songs. Songs that mean a lot to her, songs that speak of the human condition and songs she knows the words to.
